Endocrinology is a branch of internal medicine that studies endocrine glands and hormones they produce. Thyroid gland is the greatest endocrine gland in human body and its hormones affect every cell and tissue in human organism. Discovering disorders of endocrine glands at a right time is important for proper and coordinated functioning of human body.

Prevention and diagnostics of thyroid disorders.

• Laboratory analysis of serum levels of thyroid hormones(T3, FT3, T4, FT4), TSH, antibodies (anti-TPO,TgAb) and other hormones (E2, FSH, LH, PRL progesterone)
• Ultrasound of thyroid, parathyroid and neck lymph nodes
• Ultrasound guided puncture biopsy of thyroid for cytology analysis
• histopathology examination

Treatment: Drug treatment of thyroid, pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal glands, sex glands, pancreas disorders as well as fat and carbohydrates metabolism disorders like diabetes and hyperlipoproteinemias being one of the illnesses mostly occur nowadays.
